當然、字典裡面根本沒有Kryptonite這個字，
它是超人故事裡面編出來的東西。
Kryptonite是超人home planet上的一種礦物
超人只要接近它就會失去所有的超能力，
甚至變的比凡人還不如...

Kryptonite所代表的跟Achilles' heel一樣，
就算是所向無敵的英雄也是有弱點、缺陷。

但是這首歌並不是關於超人和 Kryptonite，

而是關於我們的期許。

每天的努力就是為了要達到期許，
為了給家人驕傲、給朋友的堅持、給戀人的陪伴、給自己的滿足。

但是當大家的期許都超過我的能力怎麼辦？
就算拼了命，最後還是會讓你失望。

當我達不到期許的時候,你會扶我ㄧ把嗎？
當我徹底讓你失望的時候,你還會留下來嗎？

我認識的人裡,有幾個是會留下來的？
相反的,我又會為了幾個人留下來？

說不定根本沒有那個你，
沒有期許，
沒有人叫我 superman。

因此、Kryptonite狠狠的砸在我腳上。
