Dong of the Planet of the Apes

Just watched Dawn of the Planet of the Apes not long ago, one of my favorite movie of the year. So I did this childish drawing of bad pun and censored dong.

剛看完 Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (猩球崛起：黎明的進擊) (直接翻譯: 猩球的黎明)，今年目前為止我最喜歡的一部電影之一。那至於那個馬賽克就要來一點英文教室時間了。Dong (讀: 咚) 是越南盾的意思，Dong 的另一個意思就是陰莖 (俚語)。那 Dawn (黎明) 跟 Dong (陰莖) 的讀音有點像所以我就把名稱改為 Dong of the Planet of the Apes (直接翻譯: 猩球的陰莖).....呵...幼稚

有沒有又學到新東西了呢? (雖然沒什麼營養)

Kick-Ass

Happy Pixel Art Wednesday. Pixel art 是由早期電腦的點陣圖延演變出來的藝術創作風格。Kick-Ass 2 快要在這邊上映了，我蠻喜歡第一集的所以有點期待 (雖然影評不是很好)。

Pacific Rim rules of engagement 環太平洋戰鬥法則

機器人與怪獸對打本來就不需要什麼邏輯。
看電影時一直聯想到某某戰隊系列的影集和魔動王或是魔神英雄傳之類的卡通。
而我們喜歡環太平洋一大部分是因為小時候看的影集和卡通。
雖然到現在都還一直有在拍新的戰隊系列的影集，只是沒有環太平洋如此炫麗的CG。
如果環太平洋可以像復仇者一樣推出相關的影集就好了，但影集預算應該花不起CG的製作費。

This is the reason why it dragged a cruise liner through the city just hit the monster with it. Also, using a cruise liner as sword is pretty awesome.

This comic still took longer then I expected...but when I try to finish the drawing quickly I find that I usually do a really bad job. Well, worse then what is it now. And I've done this strip in Chinese because I don't think there are that many English only readers and also I am lazy.

Fly me to the moon

　
Happy Tuesday! 為了響應六月才剛上映的Man of Steel，我畫了Man of Steel電影的結局畫面(誤)。其實畫這個是因為逛YouTube時逛到Diana Krall翻唱的Fly me to the moon. (爵士樂的頻率還真適合我耳朵)

這首歌差不多有五十多年了但我第一次聽到是因為這首歌是"新世紀福音戰士"的片尾曲。而且，雖然每集的片尾曲都是Fly me to the moon，但是幾乎每集都是不同歌手跟版本。

再回到Man of Steel，雖然現在Superman好像不是最受歡迎的超級英雄(現在可能都是Batman還是Iron man吧)。但Supeerman應該還是最有名的超級英雄吧，你阿公阿嬤可能不知道鋼鐵人是誰，但應該知道超人吧。而且Action Comic #1(超人第一次出現的漫畫)也是目前拍賣價錢最高的漫畫(兩百多萬美金)。

我之前的Blog也有畫過一次超人，雖然是用滑鼠畫簡單的線條，但還是目前我自己最喜歡的作品之一。

I drew this not because I watched Man of Steel, but because I heard Fly me to the moon by Diana Krall. The first time I ever heard this song was actually at the end of Evangelion, this anime...go figure.

As for the Man of Steel movie, for an origin story, wish it has more of his Earth mom and dad. But I still enjoyed it nevertheless.

Arya + the Hound

之前聽到大家討論 Game of Thrones 的時候並沒有特別去注意。一直到兩三個月前才開始看,
結果真的還有點超好看的。 Game of Thrones 裡面有很多角色，但比較特別的是本來以為是主軸角色可能過一陣子就死掉了，然後配角又突然變主角，好人變壞人，壞人變好人。。。嗯，這不是跟台灣連戲劇一樣嗎?

我畫的我目前最愛的雙人組 Arya and the Hound.

Arya and the Hound. Ya, the dynamic between those two characters is pretty awesome. Hopefully the show will continue to be awesome seasons to come.

Breaking Bad x Dexter's Laboratory

For those who enjoyed both Breaking Bad and Dexter's Laboratory.

I haven't drawn anything for a while, it's mainly due to drawing on the phone hurts my finger, I draw too slow, and most importantly, laziness.

No, I am not going back to putting out something once a week, but I will at least try to do more and maybe simpler stuff.

最近才追完 Breaking Bad (絕命毒師) 的美劇所以跟著畫一張相關的圖。

小時候(高中)我跟我弟最喜歡的卡通之一就是 Dexter's Laboratory (德克斯特的實驗室), 卡通頻道應該還有在播。

我把卡通的角色放進影集裡，卡通裡面的姊姊總是把弟弟的實驗室砸毀，所以我把 Breaking Bad 改成 Breaking Lab (破壞實驗室)。然後剛好La (鑭) 也是一個真的元素，是不是太剛好了呢?! (自我滿足中)

很久沒畫畫了。昨天因為時間太多所以才拿起觸控筆畫了起來。

畫完才發覺說如果我靠畫畫吃飯一定會餓死。

花了十小時才完成這張圖，應該兩三小時就可以完成的東西。

而且只要還沒完成又很難停下來做其他事。。。真是很不爽又很爽。

(話說現在畫解析度比較高的圖時手機會LAG，浪費我時間。。。嗯，可以考慮換手機了)

I'M BATMAN

快樂星期三，現在好像已經變成兩個星期更新一次了。接下來就會淪陷成三個星期，一個月，兩個月。。。
跟著上禮拜上映的蝙蝠俠熱潮，一定要來個蝙蝠俠的漫畫。蝙蝠俠戴上面罩以後聲音好像都會變低，尤其是 Christopher Nolan 這三部，聲音更是燒聲的很嚴重。當蝙蝠俠已經夠累了，還要變聲不是更累嗎?

Happy Wednesday. I've been lazy...I mean "busy" recently, which is why I've started to update every 2 week instated of every week.

Bruce Fury 李小門

快樂星期三!! 嗯，上個禮拜是懶到一個程度 (給父母的版本: 上個禮拜是累到一個程度)。加上智齒想跑出來的牙痛加持，根本是沒有心情畫什麼東西。既然畫畫是為了讓自己開心，沒有心情當然就不畫了。今天畫的是亞洲復仇者的最後一位 Bruce Fury. 很明顯指是李小龍穿上長板外套而以。雖然說 Nick Fury 的招牌是眼罩但我給他眼罩的話好像就更看不出來我畫的是李小龍了，所以就只是換成了太陽眼鏡。還有就是李小龍好像跟 Nick Fury 沒什麼關係但因為他的衣服很好畫所以就選了他。

Wednesday! I've been lazy and busy last week, hence no update and no notice. I know Bruce Lee has nothing to do with Nick Fury but I am out of idea, and out of energy. So this marks then end of my Asianvangers collection. Back to regular comic next week...hopefully.

Four Eyes 田雞眼

哀，又是星期四。因為這個禮拜剛好是E3，所以整個晚上都在看遊戲的影片和interview。今天的亞洲復仇者是鷹眼的弟弟，四眼田雞。現在亞洲青少年的近視高達八到九成，如此推算，宅男的比例至少有五成吧？其實我也不知道宅男通常穿什麼，但重點是宅男大部分都有看起來沒刮乾淨的小鬍子。。。嗯，我也該去刮鬍子了。

Its E3 week. With the internet flooded with new video games stuff, I can forgive myself for being late on the update. Its also appropriate for me to do the Asian Hawkeye this during E3 week, because bow and arrow seems to be the trend for many upcoming new games. Assassins Creed 3, Tomb Raider, Far Cry 3 and Crysis 3 all has bow as their new weapon. For those who don't care about games, this is Hawkeye is suppose to be an Asian nerd, because that is the mustache we rock by not shaving for a year.

Red Mistress 紅狸精

又是星期四? 是的，因為昨天回到家以後就一覺睡到天亮。因天的亞洲復仇者應該是最普通的吧。。。本來的想法是把黑寡婦畫成類似韓國女子團體之類的，結果畫出來以後好像比較像情婦之類的，但是我也懶的去改了。

I fell asleep right after I came home last night... that's why the post is late. But here your go, Asian Black Widow, the Red Mistress! Finally more boobs in my drawings. And yes, I did intentionally made the dress shorter and the boos larger. But its a cute cartoon style so...kinna weird. And yes, it did turn out to be kind of generic...but at least its done alright?

I have to WULK 勞克

這個禮拜差點畫不出來(雖然這是最偷懶的一張)。因為工作太忙，而且我實在是想不到什麼浩克跟亞洲有連結東西所以就把它畫成勞累的上班族。住各位上班族安全度過五月吧。。。我也想睡了。

順道一提，本來一直以為我的手機螢幕被撞一個凹洞，最近換保護貼的時候發現原只傷到保護貼...epic win

Hulk to Wulk...ya, not much creativity there, and its not even Asian. But I am tired of work and need sleep. All the salary man reading this, have a great night.

Chor 雷神口爾

繼續亞洲版復仇者。。。北歐神話裡面有雷神Thor，亞洲的神話也是有雷神的。除了大家熟悉的雷公以外日本也有名為雷電的雷神。

他背後的圈圈是雷電的鼓，因為大家都知道，雷聲是神鼓打出來的。
為了要媲美Thor的秀髮，我幫他加了Sephiroth的長髮。(只是結果看起比較像是老人)
最後肚子是因為我查到的亞洲雷神圖片都是裸上半身，而且都有肚子。(好像大部分亞洲的神都有肚子，所以我也有神般的體格嗎?)

Happy Wednesday again. Obviously the name Chor came from Thor, but what does it mean? The answer is  nothing, I named it Chor simply because I can't think of a name that is similar to Thor and have relation to what I am drawing.
For those who don't know, the Chinese thunder god is called Lei Kung and holds a hammer and mace that punishes evildoers...the difference is...he is not that easy on the eyes. Japanese also have their thunder god named Raiden who carries drums on his back who likes to participate in Mortal Combat and Metal Gear.

Iron Chef

好幾個禮拜晚回家的星期三。因為沒力氣畫完整的漫畫，所以繼續畫亞洲版的的復仇者。鋼鐵人當然是變成鋼鐵廚師。本身形狀沒什麼特別的，只是臉的陰影不知道為什麼怎麼畫都覺得怪怪的。另外有沒有看到我我還特別把他心臟那顆變成火爐的形狀。

Just watched the Avengers on labor day, which means I will continue to draw my "Asiangers", which looks better then regular comics anyway, and I don't have to fail at writing a punch line. This week, the IRON CHEF...and now I am going to bed. Come to think of it, I've been sleeping for 4 to 5 hour during weekdays for the past few weeks because I've been leaving work so late...nice job at being efficient.

Its the Fla...wait a minute

快樂。。。星期四? 今天回家以後網路自己活起來了所以圖也要跟上。為了趕上復仇者電影的熱潮，我打算每天放一個人，直到電影上映。。。喔，已經上映了? 應該還是會放，只是可能電影都上HBO了我還沒放完。

因為復仇者裡面好像都沒有亞洲的隊員(除了黑寡婦在某些漫畫好像是)，所以我就想到把每個人改成亞洲版的英雄。為什麼用中國而不是台灣呢? 因為台灣顏色跟美國一樣，所以我覺得太無趣。但是改成中國顏色以後就長的跟閃電俠一樣。。。

As usual, I will try to draw something that's theme to whats hot right now. So since they didn't cast any Asian as hero for the movie, I have to do it myself and draw Asian version of them. Except Captain America with red and yellow color outfit looks totally like The Flash... (and I hope you get the assembly joke)

I am a Yes Man

上個周末一家四口去Gurney看電影，是我媽一向覺得太誇張的Jim Carrey所演的『Yes Man』，
台灣翻成『沒問題先生』。大概是敘述生活一成不變的男主角參加一個program，就是要他無論
生活上什麼大小事都要回答“Yes”，開始讓他的生活變得充滿驚喜。

這是我電影裡最喜歡的片段: (Jim Carry 演唱 Third Eye Blind 的Jumper)

電影咖

暑假期間是Hollywood Blockbuster 的旺季
也是看電影的好季節。

雖然生性孤僻，但我總覺得看電影不是一個人做的事
其實坐在黑漆漆的電影院內，
大家也是各看各的，根本是一個互動性很低的活動。

而且有時候要找人相陪也是一件不容易的事
大家要橋時間，又要有相同興趣
有時候因為找不到人而白白的錯過一齣好電影。

但是閉幕後跟對方一起討論銀幕上的片段，
甚至只是兩人個會心的微笑，
都讓我覺得那些麻煩是值得的。

當男人遇上腋毛

夏天真的到了, 連 Rochester 這種冰寒地帶都開始熱起來
校園內的乳溝指數也極速的上升.
脫掉了外套, 躺在草皮上看書,
才發現平常包頭蓋臉的那些同學原來是女的

但是各位女性朋友請注意, 除非你是熱愛大自然的禧皮
要不然請務必在穿無袖衣服的時候
把腋下的 "情況" 稍微整理一下, 要不然是會嚇到男性友人的...
至於我自己又沒有被嚇過嘛...... 就算有也故意去忘了

Save the Cheerleader, Save the World

這個星期一, 美國最受矚目的新生影集 Heroes 剛撥完第一季

一剛開始我就對Heroes所著迷, 主要原因是它新鮮的題材
當普通的路人突然發現他們自己擁有特異功能時, 他們會有什麼反應?
應該不是把內褲穿在外面到處打擊犯罪吧.
因此我有人問我Heroes是關於什麼的時候我都會回答"沒有穿緊身皮衣的X-Men"
